Discover the gift of nature this long weekend

J.D. Irving, Limited is proud to list 2,001 sites in its voluntary, award-winning conservation program, many of which are open to the public. We encourage you to get together with your friends and family this New Brunswick Day weekend and see the beauty our province has to offer. Below are some ideas to get started.

Bald Peak Mountain

Located near Clarendon, New Brunswick, this mountain hike is a fairly easy trek through mixed wood stands. The peak offers a vista that is second to none in this area of the province, with views of other peaks to the west and north. The view is best seen at sunset, so time your hike accordingly!

Fall Brook Falls

Best known as New Brunswick's highest continually running waterfall, Fall Brook Falls was first discovered and measured by William Ganong in the late 1800s during his survey of the province. This 30 metre waterfall has high cliffs on three sides, and the stream leads to a ravine with a walking path. The entrance is located near Boiestown, NB, with a $10 charge at the gatehouse.

La Dune de Bouctouche and Irving Nature Park

Located in Bouctouche and Saint John, NB, respectively, these parks boast beautiful coastline, walking trails, interactive tours, boardwalks and more. These parks are owned and maintained by J.D. Irving, Limited and gifted to the public to help protect environmentally significant areas, provide outdoor space and educate on the many flora and fauna that call these areas home.

Wherever you spend your long weekend, be sure to leave each site as you found it. We hope you enjoy your adventure.
